Why become a member of a church?
Becoming a member of our church is more than joining a community—it’s stepping into a spiritual family committed to growing in faith, serving others, and walking through life together. Membership is a way to say, “This is my church, and I’m all in.” It opens doors to deeper relationships, opportunities to use your gifts, and a shared commitment to follow Jesus in unity. If you’re ready to move from attending to belonging, we invite you to take the next step.
You are invited to become a part of the Immanuel community! We are a special place that God is using to build His Kingdom. We love to be together, gather for worship on the weekends, study scripture and serve others throughout the week. Immanuel is a place where you grow in your relationship with the Lord and others and are invited to use the gifts God has bestowed upon you to build up the church.
New Member Classes are required for everyone who would like to join Immanuel. A key aspect of our New Member process is having fellowship and developing community with one another. In our weekly gatherings, we will discuss the fundamentals of our Christian faith:
- What it means to be a follower of Jesus
- How God’s Word applies to daily living
- What we confess
- The gifts God brings to us by His grace
New Member Classes Begin February 22
New member classes run in the spring and in the fall, and meet at Immanuel every Sunday from 9:15am - 10:15am. The spring 2026 class will begin on February 22 and run weekly through Sunday, April 12.
